• Rated for the axis it serves — 200 W is the figure listed for the TL position on the CM402, so the drive runs at the output the machine calls for instead of one carried over from another point.
• Built by Mitsubishi, fitted on a Panasonic machine — a cross-brand replacement that keeps this drive point covered from a second source.
• Back on the same point — the unit mounts where the failed motor came off, using the existing hardware and cable routing.

Rating and Identification at a Glance

Fit Limits and Output Ratings

Listed for the TL motor position on the Panasonic CM402, this unit does not stretch to other drive points or to other machines in the same family. Part numbers are assigned position by position, so the number that fits the CM402 TL drive will not serve a CM602, an NPM or another platform, and it will not stand in for a different axis on the same machine.

Output rating is the other limit. Servos on this machine run at different figures depending on where they sit; the 15 W and 20 W units in our range are separate products with their own numbers, and the 200 W figure here belongs to the TL point. If the label on the motor being removed is worn past reading, send the machine model, the drive point and a clear photo of the unit and we will check the match against your details.

Fitting the Replacement at the TL Point

1. Isolate the machine and lock off the supply, following your own plant procedure, before any cover comes off.
2. Photograph the motor, its connectors and the coupling position, and mark the cable run so everything goes back the way it came.
3. Release the coupling and the mounting bolts, support the unit as it comes away, and keep the old motor on the bench until the replacement is running.
4. Check the shaft, the coupling and the mounting face for burrs, fretting or wear before the new unit goes on.
5. Fit the motor, set the coupling alignment to the figure given in your machine documentation, then reconnect the power and feedback plugs.
6. Power up, reference the TL axis and run a short cycle before the line goes back into production.
7. Record the change in the maintenance log with the date and the numbers taken from the old and new motors.
